SARAH ANDES MSW, LCSW
Adult Mental Health Therapist

Welcome! My name is Sarah and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and co-owner of Comfy Couch Counseling. I received my Master in Social Work degree from the University of South Dakota and my Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Wyoming. I work mainly with the adult population spanning ages 18 and older. I have historically worked in different settings within mental health including in-patient settings, partial hospitalization, and outpatient mental health counseling. I also enjoy facilitating group therapy. My approach to psychotherapy is a blend of interventions from Mindfulness and Acceptance based, cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), solution-focused, and strengths-based modalities with emphasis on being person-centered. I am a firm believer in meeting each person compassionately where they are emotionally and fostering self-determination to guide each therapy process. I aspire to assist clients navigating the darkness that can occur with mental health concerns to ignite hope, and work side by side to help the individual achieve their wellness goals. I believe passionately in normalizing the concept of attending therapy. Through Comfy Couch Counseling, I strive for each encounter to be genuine, comfortable, and one that promotes confidence for the healing process. Thank you for beginning this journey; please consider me a resource for any questions you may have moving forward.
